Tips And Tricks

Only 6 Products To Detail your Car

  • Car detailing can be a very hard and confusing hobby to get into. There are thousands of products that can do the same thing, but there are a few that are actually good and worth your money. I am going to save you all the time and money and tell you how I can fully detail a car with 6 PRODUCTS ONLY

    Exterior

I can do an essential detail for the exterior and make the car look new with only 4 products. I'm going to give you the steps and prices for the products so you can detail your car with the least amount of products so you can save money.

The first product that you need is good soap. I use cheap soap that is pH neutral from any retail store. This should be at most $10-$15. This is used to clean the paint of the car.

The second product would be a good degreaser. What we use at Detail Physician is super clean because it works super well, and you can use it for several different things. Super clean runs around $1o-$15 as well, which is a very good price. This can be used for mud, tar, tires, and rims and can even clean off the bugs on the front bumper.

The third product would be a good spray wax. At Detail Physician, we use NuFinish ceramic sealant. It has a one-year-long longevity and makes the water bead off the paint. It can also be applied to the windows to make the water bead off where you won't even need to use your windshield wipers.

The fourth product would be a good trim protectant and tire shine. We use Chemical Guys Silk Shine Protection. This is a more pricey alternative but can be used for many different things. The price is around $35 for a whole gallon. You can use this on trim pieces that are dead and bring them back to life, you can use it on tires for tire shine, and also use it on black metal bumpers to shine it up.

    Interior

For the interior, we use a lot of the same products from exterior but diluted in different ways to save money and time. to start us off, we will go to our first product.

For our first product, you need a good multi-surface interior cleaner. We use tuff stuff because it can clean all surfaces of the interior and leaves no residue. You can clean the seats, doors, dash, and the console. Tuff stuff is around $7 a can which is super cheap and you can find it at any major retailer

For the second product, again, you need a good degreaser. This time, you can dilute in two different ways to do different things. First, you can use it as another multi-surface to get more dirty surfaces or use it without diluting for shampooing carpets and cloth seats to remove grease and stains.

For the third product, again, you need a good trim protectant. You can use this on several things in the interior. You can use it on all trim like the doors, dash, and even leather seats. For more of a high-end detail, we would use a specific leather conditioner, but silk shine protectant works to give it a nice shine.

The fourth product you would need is a good window cleaner. You need this for the outside as well, but specifically for the interior with all the smudges that get on your windows. We at Detail Physician use invisible glass, which can be found at any retailer and is under $10 a bottle.

    Summary

There you go! There is 6 main product that you can use to detail your car fully. No need to go to the store and buy several different products that probably won't even work for you. Use the 6 products and see significant results that work.
